All-on-4® Implants

The All-on-4® system uses four implants to place full mouth implants. Our dentist performs All-on-4 dental implants when you have lost your entire teeth or if the remaining ones have to be extracted. One amazing thing with All-on-4 implants is that they reduce dental implant costs. Instead of having a post or screw for every implant, an entire arch is supported with only four posts. It is a tooth replacement solution for people seeking affordable dentures and implants.

The Process of Getting All-on-4 Implants

The surgery takes roughly two and a half hours per arch. The steps involved are:

Step 1: You receive a detailed exam, allowing our dentist to look at your mouth, existing records and conditions, and whether you have dentures.

Step 2: Our dentist does CT scans to produce 3D pictures of your jawbone. The images show the positions of the bone sinuses as well as nerves. The scans also show positions for the replacement teeth.

Step 3: We create a digital simulation of your implants. Our dentist digitally positions the simulation into the jawbone within the right location, allowing the most support from the replacement teeth.

Step 4: The final step involves the oral surgery procedure. Our dentist applies anesthesia and places the implants into the bone to secure the new set of teeth.

Benefits of All-on-4

The full-mouth dental implants performed using All-on-4 offer many benefits. The procedure requires fewer appointments than regular dental implants. Since the whole implant attaches to one framework, our dentist may not need to create slots for placing individual implants.

Again, replacing teeth using All-on-4 reduces the tooth implant cost significantly because you are not paying for single tooth implants. Moreover, there is no need to have bone grafts, typical in traditional implant surgery when a patient has inadequate bone mass. It is easy to maintain the implant because you don’t need to remove them for cleaning. You brush and floss normally.
